Neihu Taipei City is a good place! Come here and just live!
I have lived in Taiwan since 2006.
It has been 10 years already...time does fly!
Apparently, Taiwan is actually still said to be a developing country.
Yes, I definitely have been witnessed and experienced
its evolutional process here.
Take the MRT for an example, when I came to Taiwan for
the first time, there were no MRT Neihu line and yellow lines
for 三重(Sanchong areas).
Without the big supermarkets, cinema and a few motels,
there were nothing else around 美麗華 today.
101 building area as well! I still remember there were nothing around
101 about 10yrs ago. No ATT, no Sogo, no Hankyu department stores.
I don't mind if it's developed, but I am sure am getting used to and so into this country.
Anyways, I am wondering what the other foreigners who also live here's feeling
for about Taiwan are.
Are you comfortable with Taiwan? Or are you sad here?
Different people have different thoughts.
You know what?
My foreign friends all have gone back to their home countries.
Because I have my dearest Taiwanese husband here,
so I am never ever seeking for other romance, but since I started working here,
I have been lonely for sometimes. Yes, I need friends here.
Of course, the local coworkers are friendly and nice people,
but since my 10yrs experience proved that
they are hardly my good friend.
That's because foreigners are always foreigner to the locals.
Seriously I need foreign friends..!
AIT American Institute of Taiwan moved to my place recently.
Some American people are already working there!
But unfortunately, I don't have any chance to talk to them.
Last week, I met a maid girl from Indonesia, and we had a little chat at park..!
It made me so so happy..! Hope I could see her again!
內湖(Neihu district Taipei city)is a great place to live.
Many small and big parks are here! No night clubs, quiet and peace.
Lovely mixture of urban and city life environment !
I highly recommend to every foreigner!
Hope more foreigners move to here and could easily catch up with!
